1st Prenatal Visit

Today was our 1st Prenatal Visit to Dr. Cindy Hubach.

Our baby is currently 8 weeks old. As you can see above, he/she is very small ( around 5/8 of an inch long, about the size of a kidney bean ). Andrea will have another sonogram at 20 weeks. At that point, if the baby is correctly positioned, his or her gender can be determined.

The projected due date is September 6th, which interestingly falls very close to Labor Day (September 5th).

Please continue to keep us in your prayers.

Visiting Papa and Grandma Reynolds

My parents and I took an extended weekend trip to visit my mother's parents in Fayetteville, TN.

While we were there visited, we watched TV (including John Denver’s last documentary entitled “Let This Be a Voice”). There is some very breath-taking scenery in the video. Let’s just say, “OoowwwuuU” (watch the video and you’ll understand).

My Papa recently bought a computer and I was able to help give him an overview of the computer basics.

My Dad took some side trips while we were in Fayetteville. We had our traditional “Coke Break” and had another outing at the local Books-A-Million for coffee and book/magazine browsing.

My Mom and Grandma invested a lot of time together. They are like sisters when they get together… giggling, laughing, and such. It is very nice and encouraging to see them.
