Gender Revealing Party
I saw this idea to reveal the gender of our baby at a party from the Sit a Spell blog post.
We had the ultrasound done on Tuesday and asked the lady to put the gender of the baby in an envelope. We gave the envelope to a friend who kept the secret for us until the party on Friday. All the food was pink and blue and everyone wore pink or blue to tell which gender they thought we were having. My friend, Crissy, made blue and pink cake balls. She put the proper color in a gift bag and we all found out as we took a bite. It was Blue!
After eating our yummy food, we gathered in the living for a time of prayer for our little baby boy. This was such a special time to hear our sweet friends praying over this precious baby. We ended the evening with a fun game of pictionary-the kids especially enjoyed guessing and drawing pictures of about babies.
What a fun night!
