That is such a great idea! We usually keep ours up through the year and change them out at the next holiday but I am going to have to consider your idea.
What a precious picture and a beautiful idea... Andrea, are you just that creative on your own, or do you get ideas like that (and the b-day presents for Elijah) from somewhere? God is being praised all ready by your little girl! What a beautiful sight to Him, and sound in His ears!
Laura, I think I read the idea in a free newsletter I signed up for from Focus on the Family. Go to http://www.focusonthefamily.com/ and look under "Focus on your Child" There are a lot of great ideas in the monthly newsletters and they send a CD quarterly.
We took down our Christmas cards from the fridge and have put them into a basket.
She is adorable! Shelby loves to pray too. She used to fold her hands together, but now she just bows her head. We love it!
